CHECK IF YOUR SHORE POWER IS SAFE BEFORE PLUGGING IN

Occasionally the wiring in a shore power lead or on a pontoon post is found to be reversed.  This is due to human error, which can be dangerous and carries the potential risk of an electric shock.

HAPPY-PLUG is a unique diagnostic tool that allows you to test the safety of your shore power lead and the pontoon post before you plug in.  It will also allow you to check if the shore power is working on your pontoon should you have a power issue onboard.  The clever design means no extra leads are needed.  

To use simply plug the 16amp or 32 amp HAPPY-PLUG into your shore power post.  A green light will indicate an electricity supply is present and safe to use.  A red light will indicate there is an electricity supply present with reverse polarity and is not safe to use.  No light showing indicates there is no electricity coming from the pontoon shore power supply.
